Start with your reports
- Open your Wix dashboard → Apps → Report Studio.
- Under Organization, enter your organization’s details and replace sample content.
- Add a report: choose a PDF or DOCX from Media Manager, upload it there, or enter a public HTTPS document URL.
- Choose a cover design or custom image for each report. Adjust fonts, colors and buttons under Appearance.
- Review the readable-text draft against the original, choose Use reviewed text and Save.
- Add the current native widget to your Wix page, publish, and test reading, downloads, sharing and giving on desktop and mobile.
Reading and discovery
Click a cover to open the designed reader. Download retains the original document. Share offers social destinations and a copyable link; native sharing depends on the browser.
Automatically prepare readable text prepares drafts when documents are selected. For an existing report, use Extract readable text (or Extract a fresh draft when reviewed text already exists). Choose the scanned document language under Organization. Browser OCR can misread text, so review names, figures and reading order before saving. Images inside Word files need supplied text.
The current native widget supplies reviewed text in crawler HTML. This can help search engines and AI tools understand the report; it does not guarantee indexing, rankings or recommendations. Public HTML report pages is a separate, optional companion library. See the readable-text guide for review and publishing steps.
Giving and reporting
Set a public giving-page link under Giving. For report-linked Wix checkout, select a collecting Wix Donations campaign and approve the required app permissions. Available amounts, frequencies, fee coverage and comments follow that campaign and Wix’s payment support. Popup styling is configurable; Wix controls the final checkout.
Engagement counts are consented actions, not unique people or confirmed donations. A donor can separately consent to link an app-created checkout to a report. Use Reporting → Verify report donations to query current payments and refunds. This is manual and limited to the latest 100 matching checkout references. Ordinary donation-page links and recurring renewals are not matched. Campaign totals are separate site-wide measures.
Reaching checkout is not proof of payment. Complete an authorized transaction and compare the verification with Wix’s payment record before relying on completed-donation reporting.
Quick troubleshooting
- Document won’t open: Check the public URL, file format and host access. Review and save readable text for fallback use.
- No donation campaign: Check Wix Donations, collecting status, payment setup and app permissions.
- No attributed payment: Confirm the checkout started in the widget with attribution consent, payment was approved, and the selected period includes the checkout start date. Run verification again.
Help
Email dev@jitpomi.com with the page URL, report format and a description of the problem. Do not send passwords, access tokens or confidential report files. Support is in English.
Match your brand and help more people read
Use the available typography, text size, color, background, spacing, button and corner controls to match your site. Add accurate cover descriptions and choose the content language; this is separate from the language used for scanned-document OCR. Check custom-color contrast warnings and test your published page with a keyboard.
The current release improves contrast, visible focus, accessible action names and focus after browsing updates. On app-hosted library and report pages, reviewed text stays available in expandable sections after the reader loads. Visitors can use it alongside the original document.
Full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance has not yet been established. Review the source PDF or Word document separately, and test your complete Wix page and checkout. OCR can misread text and does not make the original document accessible.
